BLF 870 was registered in November 1934 to a gentleman in London. He specified a 3 ½ Liter chassis with coachwork by Vanden Plas. Vanden Plas was skilled at making the big Bentleys look sporty and lithe. Their work always has purity of line that makes the design significant yet simple...never fussy or large. This Bentley is finished in dark blue over blue matching hides and makes a stunning statement. Put on the blue tonneau cover and fold the windscreen down and this car looks ready for a race, which it competed in back in the 60's at Silverstone. In '74 BLF 870 made its way to the USA and resided in Connecticut and New York until 2015. Now offered in spectacular fully restored condition, this Bentley is ready for touring, the show circuit or both.
